Tsaghkunyats Mountain Range is located on the border of Kotayk and Aragatsotn regions of Armenia. Is one of the branches of Pambak mountains. The length of the mountain range is 42 km and in the central part is has a width of 7 km. The highest peak is mount Tsaghkunyats (2 821 m).
Different parts of Tsaghkunyats mountain range have different landscapes depending on their position. The northern slopes are covered with forests while the southern slopes are rich with steppe vegetation.
