Day 1: Lake Sevan, Sevanavank, Haghartsin and Goshavank Monasteries, Lake Parz, Dilijan
Early in the morning we will start our exciting trip from Yerevan to Lake Sevan, the true pearl of Armenia. It is a unique place where you can enjoy an atmosphere of eternal beauty and harmony.
After exploring Haghartsin Monastery, we will drive to another splendid monastery, Goshavank, which was built between the 12th and 13th centuries. It boasts a magnificent two-metre-high khachkar, the work of master Poghos which is one of the best Armenian cross-stones.
After Goshavank Monastery, we will drive to see a magnificent natural wonder, Lake Parz, a place where heaven and the earth meet, creating a spectacular, fascinating landscape. This is a site of unique beauty and tranquility. Its water is adorned with bright reflections of the surrounding mountain peaks and gentle blankets of clouds.
After a long trip, we will have rest in the beautiful city of Dilijan, where we can enjoy the richness of Armenian culture and art, also getting acquainted with local customs and traditions. A variety of hospitable restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops always cordially welcome guests. The overnight stay in Dilijan will be unforgettable, full of nice impressions and relaxation in a cozy atmosphere.

Day 2: Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries, Odzun Church, Lori Fortress, Dendropark
In the morning we will continue the programme by visiting the monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin, which were once important educational centres. Both these monasteries which are on UNESCO List of World Heritage date back to the period of the flourishing of Armenian church architecture, namely the time-span between the 10th and 13th centuries.
Our next stop will be at the church of Odzun, where you can see the tombstones of many clergymen as well as a renowned funerary memorial consisting of steps, carved columns and two arches. The western and eastern sides of the memorial are decorated with scenes relating to the Bible and Armenia’s conversion to Christianity.
Then we will visit the fortress of Lori, which used to be a large cultural and trade centre. While walking through its ruins, try to imagine its once noisy streets and busy alleys. In the Middle Ages, the city had approximately 10,000 inhabitants, and various crafts developed here: this has been proved by the discovery of many tools, weapons, jewelry as well as clay, glass and stone vessels from the territory of the fortress.
Our last stop will be in the Dendropark (arboretum) which is heaven on earth with more than 500 plant species growing here.
