This track starts from Parz Lake and finishes in Khachardzan village. The road goes through thick forest. We can see khachqars (cross -stones). After passing over several little rivers we will reach a wide meadow, where you can enjoy the wonderful view of Ijevan Mountain Range. From the meadow the way leads us to the village Gosh, birthplace of Mkhitar Gosh. From the top of the village Goshavank is already seen. Goshavank (Nor Getik Monastery) got its name in 1213, after Mkhitar Gosh, who in 1188 founded the monastery, with the support of the Lords Ivane and Zaqare. It used to have a college, a university and a seminary. Many manuscripts were written, rewritten and kept here. The track’s flora is very rich, there are different types of berries and bushes and so on. The fauna is also rich. Near Parz Lake you can meet different amphibians. Sometimes you can notice squirrels on the branches of the trees. During the hiking you may meet wild cats, long eared hedgehogs, foxes, hares and so on.
