This mountain range is located in Lori Province and forms the southeastern branch of the Bazum Mountains. The Karhank Mountains begin at Mount Shater in the Bazum Mountains and extend southeast to Mount Shikalitch, at which point they move northeast and downwards towards Gailadzor Gorge. The Karhank Mountains serve as a natural barrier between the Pambak River and its left tributary – the Vahagn. The northeastern and southeastern slopes of the mountains are wooded.
Mount Shikalitch
Mount Shikalitch is located in Lori Province, 2.5 km north of Karaberd village. The summit is rocky and looks towards the city of Vanadzor.
