The river Kirants originates from the eastern slopes of the Gugarats Mountain range and flows into the Berqaber reservoir. The length is 31 km.
The Sranots Bridge is located on the river with an arch span of about 10 meters, and a passage of 2 meters. The bridge has survived much destruction but it still stands firmly. The road passes along the bridge to the right bank of the river and reaches the village, situated near the bridge. The ruins of this village still remain here. The bridge was most likely built in 12th-13th centuries, together with Araqelots monastery and villages located nearby.
