Mount Pashat

Mount Pashat had a special place among the sacred Armenian mountains. The height is 3668 meters. It is located in the Armenian Taurus, in the Pashat Mountains, on the left bank of the Khoshab River. It is also called Bashet, Basheta, Pasheta, Patatsu Mountain. On Mount Pashat was the throne of Aramazd, the supreme god of the Armenians, the creator of heaven and earth. Mount Pashat is the only place in Armenia where the pagan temple of Aramazd is mentioned. From here, he ruled the Armenian world.
