The role of hiker in nature

The Role of Hiker in Nature

Armenia is one of the ancient habitats of humanity. It is famous for its centuries-old  historic-architectural monuments, marvelous lakes, healing waters, diverse floral and faunal worlds and of course for its unique and rich culture.

Armenia is a country of “talking stones” since every stone here tells about the past, the present and the mastery of Armenian builders. Every corner of Armenia has its past and present, its unique beauty and charm. That is why people organize their active leisure in different ways.

To Preserve Nature Means to Love Your Homeland Truly

Loving nature is not only about getting aesthetic pleasure from it. By choosing to relax in nature, everyone should realize the significance of preserving it, thus giving others the opportunity of enjoying our fantastic natural world as well. Everyone, especially the ones traveling in nature, should regularly come up with activities aimed at the preservation and maintenance of the natural and historic-architectural monuments of universal value. They should be the first initiators of those kinds of projects and become the friends and guardians of nature. We must not forget that people are the owner of both the cultural and architectural heritage of the past. Therefore, its stance mirrors the face of its owners.

Forests and Their Role in Our Life

We are underestimating the importance of forests and often forget that it is one of the most important units of the biosphere. Moreover, it should be underscored that the preservation of forests and the preservation of our planet are directly proportional.

From ancient times, timber has been used as a basic building material, and currently, it is the main source of more than 20,000 types of materials and subjects. Forests protect the soil from erosion, mitigate climate changes and their effects, so it is essential to reap the advantages of nature without abusing and exploiting it, which can be achieved through massive afforestation, strict control over illegal loggings and prohibition of the hunting of rare and endemic species.

The Right Way to Make a Bonfire

During the hikes we should be very careful while making a bonfire, this process needs a special attention. Each participant of the trip should be able to choose the right place for the campfire and put it out in accordance with all environmental and fire protection rules. There is nothing difficult here. You just have to remember that the bonfire should be 8-10 meters away from buildings, trees, and tents in the open space.

To meet a representative of the animal world during the hike now is a very rare thing, since people do not take care of them and ignore the importance of their reproduction. Furthermore, in many cases, they are secretly hunted, even at the territory of a natural reserve, which doubles the risk of extinction of some species. Obviously, corresponding actions should be taken to halt this situation.
