Lake Gosh is placed in the Tavush region in the Aregun Mountains at an altitude of 1398 m above sea level.
Area of the lake is 100 m, its depth is 80 m. And its average depth reaches 8 m.
Lake is named after Mkhitar Gosh, a famous Armenian scientist, thinker and public figure who lived in the Middle Ages.
