Menakar are rocky mountains in Vayots Dzor region, one of the branches of Vayk mountains. It begins from Teqkhach mountain pass and stretches northwest to Areveres cliff.
Mount Gandzak
Mount Gandzak is located in Vayots Dzor region 2,5 km southwest of the village Mozrov. The left tributary of Arpa river – Gandzak, rises on the northern slope of the mountain. The right tributary of Gnishik river – Menajour rises on the western slope of the Mount Gandzak. The slopes of the mountain are rocky and covered with meadow vegetation.
