The one-day tour to Tatev and Noravank is a wonderful trip during which you will learn a lot about the history and culture of Armenia, at the same time also enjoying amazing landscapes. For this tour, we offer some of the most interesting sites in the southeast of Armenia. We will begin with a visit to Noravank, a unique monastic complex which particularly stands out for its two-tier church of the Holy Mother of God.
Next we will see Tatev Monastery, once a major religious and scientific centre which also played an important role in the political life of the country for a period. The aerial tramway leading to the monastery which is situated in picturesque surroundings, the waterfall of Shaki and wine tasting will leave a lasting impression on you.
Noravank Monastery
Our first destination is Noravank, one of the pearls of Armenian architecture located in the bosom of the colourful rocks of the Gnishik Gorge. We will have a fascinating journey through time which will enable us to feel the spirit of the Middle Ages, admiring the magnificence of the religious buildings.
Many of the princes Orbelian are buried in the gavit (entrance hall) of the main monastic church which is dedicated to St. Stephen the Proto-Deacon. The entrance to the gavit is decorated with a rare relief representing God the Father.
Shaki Waterfall
Another destination is the waterfall of Shaki, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Armenia.
The amazing view and sounds of this unique natural monument always arouse admiration.
Flight on the Wings of Tatev
Get ready to feel adrenalin increase during a flight on the world’s longest aerial tramway! Only 13 minutes, and the modern and safe Wings of Tatev will carry you from the picturesque village of Halidzor to the monastery of Tatev.

Tatev Monastery
The monastery of Tatev, dating from the 9th century, is a place reflecting the power of majestic nature and human creativity.
