Mount Teghenis is the highest peak of Teghenyats Mountain Range. On the slopes of the mountain the Teghenis Monastery is situated, one of the largest medieval Armenian architectural ensembles. The monumental complex Tegenyats includes the church Katogike, the church St. Astvatsatsin, two porches, a scriptorium seminary and a refectory.
Near the monastery we will have a stop for half an hour. After visiting the monastery we will continue our way to the top of the mount Teghenis, enjoy amazing views from the top and return to the starting point
In the evening we will return to Yerevan.
