Climbing Mount Apakekar

Mountain Apakekar (Abeghakar) is located in Tavush province, between villages Haghartsin and Hovk, in the territory of Dilijan National Park. The altitude is 1651m above sea level. From the village Haghartsin one can see an impressive uprising mountain, which won’t leave you indifferent. You won’t find any information about this mountain in the internet, because it is not famous among mountain climbers.

Mount Apakekar is situated in the territory of Dilijan National Park.

Dilijan National Park is a unique site of Armenia’s wildlife. The forests of the national park covers about 40,000 acres.
