Lakes Sevan and Arpilich hold the world’s largest breeding colonies of Armenian Gull, Citrine Wagtail, while the latter lake also supports a small breeding population of Dalmatian Pelican. Also, near Artashat and Khor Virap, you can see many storks and their nests, often on top of telephone poles. There are many new and interesting things you can see in Armenia when it comes to birds.
