The Bazum Mountains, which are located in the north of the Republic of Armenia, between the Pambak Valley and the Lori Plain, comprise one of the branches of the Pambak Mountains.
The range which extends from the Karakhach Pass to the Gayladzor Gorge contains the sources of numerous tributaries feeding the Dzoraget and Pambak Rivers. The north-eastern and south-eastern slopes are wooded.
