The Arjakar Mountain Range, located in Gegharkunik Province, forms part of the Areguni Mountain Range and the Artanish Peninsula. They start at Mount Arshakasar and extend southeast to the summit of Mount Khoradzor.
Mount Artanish
Mount Artanish, which stands 2,461 m high, is located on a peninsula of the same name, 4 km southwest of the village of Artanish. The mountain is covered with meadows and shrubs and the summit offers a spectacular view of the place where the Greater and Lesser sections of Lake Sevan meet between the Artanish and Noratus peninsulas.
