“…Our relations are special”. Ambassador of India in Armenia
Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of India in Armenia H.E. Mr. Kishan Dan Dewal participated in a hiking trip to Azhdahak Mountain organized by Armenian Geographic. This was a special trip in our hiking history as for the first time there were 90 participants in the group. The trip was successful as all the participants reached to the peak of the mountain and descended from there. Among them was ambassador of India in Armenia who told us that this was not a difficult trip for him.
-What was your impression of the trip? Was it difficult for you?
-The trip to Azhdahak was very interesting. Mountains have unique beauty. It’s amazing to see that you have so many volcanoes nearby. The lake is amazing. It’s not so difficult, for those who are fit: the level of difficulty of hiking is average.
-Are you used to hiking?
-Yes I’m into hiking and for last few years I have been doing hiking, but mostly I do easy hiking.
-Is this the first time you hike with Armenian Geographic?
-No, this is probably my 10th time.
-Do you like hiking with them?
-Yes, I would say that ArmGeo people are really professional. Tigran (the head of Armenian Geographic) is not only a guide, he is also a good geographer, he knows the area, he knows geography and he knows topography very well.
-Where else have you been in Armenia?
-I’ve been to two peaks of Aragats. I can’t remember other’s names, as they are very difficult for me to remember.
-Do you like living here?
-Yes, it’s a very nice country, people are very friendly. Armenia and India have friendly and brotherly relations. I would say that our relations are special.
